Barton Reading and Spelling is a research based program, used by teachers and tutors, to help teach students with Dyslexia and other learning disabilities how to read using a multi-sensory approach.

In-person sessions are available in the Leavenworth Kansas area. Leavenworth is a satellite city of the Kansas City metro area.

Online sessions are presented using KOALAGO. This is a student friendly and safe platform that is engaging and educational.

For first and second grade, sessions are 45 minutes three times a week at $35 a sessions. Third grade and up sessions are twice a week for 60 minutes at $50 a session. The last 10 minutes of these sessions are for parent communications.

Inkwell Tutoring has three payment plans available: bi-weekly(4 or 6 sessions), monthly (9 or 13 sessions) or Semester (32 sessions at 20% discount).

Invoices will be sent according to the plan you choose. These invoices can be paid by bank draft, ApplePay or credit card.

While there will be no assigned material to study between tutoring sessions, we do ask that you expose your child to literature in the form of reading aloud to them daily or allowing them to listen to audio books. Until your student has reached a certain level of tutoring, we do not recommended your student read alone. Reading alone before they are sufficiently proficient in word decoding skills can lead to predicting text or guessing at words.

Materials need:

*3 ring binder (online and in-person)

*pencils (online and in-person)

*quiet, distraction free space for online tutoring

*charged computer, Chormebook or iPad

*webcam and headphones with microphone
